Description
One of a Kind
I built my SDR series of bass rods in honor of a great friend of mine, MAJ(R) Rick English, who passed of prostate cancer complications. Rick served in 3rd Special Forces group at Fort Bragg, NC as a Special Forces Medic, and after several years and multiple deployments with 3rd Special Forces Group, Rick volunteered to join another elite SOF unit, SFOD-Delta. He served six years and deployed multiple times with the Unit until he was selected to attend Officer Candidate School. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant of Infantry in 2003. Upon graduation from OCS he immediately attended and graduated Ranger School and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division for a short 11 months before returning to Special Operations with the 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Lewis, WA. After his assignment to 2/75 Ranger BN, Rick again returned to Fort Bragg for training as a Special Forces Detachment Commander and was assigned to the 1st Special Forces Group at Fort Lewis, WA.
