Tuna Spike

Description

This tuna spike is designed to be used quickly and directly into the brain of a fish, causing immediate brain death. A fish brain is usually located slightly behind and above the eye. When spiked correctly, the fish fins flare and the fish relaxes, immediately ceasing all motion. The blood contained in the fish flesh retracts to the gut cavity, which produces a better colored and flavored fillet.

Our new Tuna Spike by Duran’s Fishing Products is the first full Titanium Tuna Spike in the market. Titanium is a unique element and has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all known metals. It is CNC machined out of Grade 2 Titanium it is 99% pure and offers superior corrosion resistance in saltwater environments, lasting a lifetime spiking fish.
