I built my QOB (Queen of Battle) 950 series downrigging rods to be light, tough, and the right downrigging/trolling rod for most applications. This rod is perfect for open water trolling or back bouncing in large rivers for salmon and steelhead. It handles large cannonball weights with ease, without losing that sensitive tip. Combat proven on the Columbia River and Buoy 10.
